Purchase Guaranteed Web Site Traffic, Then Fine Tune Your Ads

Every small online business around today has to watch the pennies. The problem is that they also need to drive traffic to their websites on a constant basis in order to drum up much needed business. The fact they can purchase guaranteed web site traffic makes the task a lot easier because at the end of the day, the only traffic that converts to sales will be visitors who land on a website and find what they are looking for.

Pay per Click (PPC) is a method that works well. An Internet marketer can purchase guaranteed web site traffic knowing that although they may be a small concern and as such have a small website, they do, however have a similar web presence as any larger business. Saving pennies is important but not when it comes to advertising your website.

If a website does not get the guaranteed traffic it needs on a constant basis, it stands a good chance of failing to bring in the people who will eventually spend money on it. Website traffic is the lifeblood of an online business and as such even if a website owner is on a tight budget, allowances must be made to ensure that necessary traffic is driven to the site all the time. The point being that this traffic needs to convert to those all-important sales, so the more traffic that lands on a website the more chance there is of making vital sales.

Targeted traffic is obviously the better option but guaranteed targeted traffic is the ultimate goal of any website owner who wants to run a successful online business. An Internet Marketer, who decides that the Pay per Click method of buying guaranteed traffic to their website will be a good technique to use, is absolutely right. Not only will it drive more visitors to their sites but they will also be able to tweak their websites according to how they analyse the data they gain from PPC. This can prove to be invaluable to the success of any online business.

If a high percentage of traffic that lands on the website converts to sales then obviously paying for web site traffic is a very positive form of marketing products and services that are being promoted on the website. This all sounds very easy but in fact paying for web site traffic is only a small step up the ladder to making it work as well as it can. An Internet marketer cannot get away from the fact that they need to know their niche market. They have to research how to write the best content by using reliable and useful keywords and make sure they stay within the limits that search engines like.

Content and keywords are the all important factor even if an Internet marketer buys web site traffic. Knowing what words people use when they are searching for products or services they are looking for, is only part of the whole process. If visitors are drawn to a website because the content they read as they are led to the site is interesting and informative, they will arrive on the website and find either a solution to their problem or something they want to purchase.

Translated this means traffic will convert to sales.

Developing a strategy that brings web site traffic on a constant basis means achieving the momentum needed to get the numbers of visitors that will count. Buying guaranteed web site traffic means increasing the hits on the site through search engines on a daily basis which improves the chances of these hits converting into sales every day.

Using the right keyword phrases cannot be emphasised enough to get the right targeted traffic needed. Every time a keyword phrase is searched for, a website owner will be charged when the links are used. Pay per Click works on this principal whereas other fast ways of driving traffic to a website involved billing for the amount of times an advert is shown, this is referred to as 'cost per thousand'.

Whichever method is used, to purchase guaranteed web site traffic is money well invested. It will show a good return in a relatively short space of time and the best part about it is that online marketers can fine tune their ads, which in brief means they can cut down their advertising costs as time goes by.

Passive Income Opportunities Stare Us In The Face

According to the American Internal Revenue Service, there are three types of incomes:

1. Active Income. That which must be earned - You have to work for it.

2. Portfolio Income. Income from investments. Example, dividends. Many will regard Portfolio Income as passive. However, in the United States, it is not classified as such.

3. Passive Income - A dreamers dream! Examples of passive income are royalties from a book you published, rent money, dividends from a business you own, revenues from an old blog on the internet.

If you are a landlord, a musician, an author or investor, you may, at some point, be able to kick back and enjoy the fruits of your labor without putting in anything for that period. Well, I mean, if you are successful in your category.

But...if you were not born with a gold spoon in your mouth, you are tone-deaf, and you read books - not write them, how are you going to get to that easy street? Where is the passive income avenue?

You can invest in stocks and bonds...if you can find the money and afford the risk...

Online marketing is less of a gamble than investing in stocks. It only takes more hard work to get into. You can even start it without paying a dime, or at least, just for pizza money. Contrary to what many internet marketers tell you, it WILL cost you time and effort - A LOT! Work hard today, see the benefits down the road. If you are willing to throw your weight behind it, you may find a friend in Google. Search Engine Optimization is the key.

A blog you wrote in 2009 could still be delivering traffic to your website in 2011. Every time your traffic converts, you will receive passive income. The more internet marketing articles you create to generate traffic, the more passive income you will earn. If you continue investing time and effort, your income stream will keep growing. Each article will add a new income channel to your business. Years down the road, you could be sitting easy on the beach.

Maybe you have tried blogging before, but no one seems to read your articles. That is easy to fix. It means that there are things you do not know about SEO Keywords. I hope that some online marketing company did not take your money and leave you to blog in vain, all by yourself. If you are looking for an honest ethical online marketing affiliate program, make sure you choose one that will teach you the business. This guideline can never be overstated!

You have a right to dream big, and you have a right to achieve. Yes, it is possible to succeed and make money online. Just be willing to work hard enough. The rewards are very great. You could be caught up in that rapture too - Passive income that just keeps coming, even when you did not go to work.

Peace my friend. Happy hunting online!

Five Tips for Making Money Online on a Micro Job Site

Micro job sites are increasing in popularity and for very good reasons. Firstly, it enables virtually anyone to make some very good income by offering their skills on a casual basis. You can work whenever you want, doing what you enjoy and get paid well for it. On the other hand, if you are a business owner or someone who needs a specific job done, you get a great piece of work for a much lower price. And for both buyer and seller the work can be completed quickly and efficiently.

However, many people struggle to get many (if any) job assignments from the micro sites they list on. Here are five things yo can do to maximize your sales and income:
Offer jobs that are in demand. Think about what you can do that a large number of people would want. They may well be things that other people might find to be monotonous or too specialized. It isn't much use to offer something which hardly anyone would want, yet there are many sellers who make this mistake.
Price it right. Look at what others are selling similar services for. You don't need to be the cheapest, but you do need to be competitive.
Create a great profile. Talk a bit about yourself and why you are listing jobs for sale. Above all you want to communicate your professionalism and your passion for providing a great service. Buyers want to know you will be reliable and do a great job.
Go the extra mile for the first few jobs you do so that you get great reviews. Many buyers will make their decision on who to hire by looking at reviews. If you can stand out as being an exceptional worker you have a much better chance of being selected.
List your jobs on multiple sites. Buyers are looking on many sites for jobs to be done. If you are listed on a few good micro job sites you increase your chances of picking up jobs. You don't need to be on dozens of sites, but five or six is a good number. Also select at least a couple of sites that are quite new. There will be fewer people competing with you.

Offering your services on micro job sites is a great way to make some additional money online. You might even find it can turn into a fulltime income. Following the tips above can help increase your chances of success.

3 Tricks For Easy Amazon Profits

Absolutely anyone can list a product for sale on the Amazon website, but not everyone is successful in finding out what they should sell on Amazon for a profit. There is a big difference between making a few pence of profit on each listing, and making enough to continue to sell online for a living. Fortunately there are a few tricks of the trade that can help you on your way to success!

Trick one - Know your market area

Let's say you're wandering through your local charity shop and spot an old record for only a few pounds. Great! It could be a collectible! You snap it up instantly and race home to Amazon to list this for sale. Only to discover that no one really wants that record after all and you've just wasted your money.

Select a market area that you know something about, at least initially. This will make you aware of when to snap up a great deal to make a profit, and when to leave well alone.

Trick two - Study your market area

Alright, you already have some knowledge about the area in which you are going to sell, maybe even a lot of knowledge! Despite that you will still need to take the time to study what's already out and about in the marketplace for people to buy, and how much those existing products sell for. Before purchasing any stock, spend some time on the Amazon website looking around the appropriate categories. It is important to remember that if no one at all is selling what you are offering, there may be a gap in the market but there could just as easily be no market in the gap! Supplement your study with a look around eBay and other websites to make sure that what you want to sell will actually disappear from your virtual shelves.

Trick three - Set a minimum profit level

When working out what you should sell on Amazon for profit it is important to calculate exactly how much profit you can actually make on each sale. Let's say you want to sell DVDs, but from your research you have realised that you can only make £1 of profit from each sale. How many DVDs would you need to sell each day to make a viable income stream? 10? Hardly. 100? Maybe.

But what if you could get your hands on some high quality cookware that you could sell for 5 pounds profit a time! Suddenly you only need to sell 20 units to make the same amount of profit each and every day. Setting a 5 pounds profit limit, as an example, could reduce your workload, providing you with more chance to research additional items to expand your buying and selling business.

Learning what to sell on Amazon for profit is not an exact science. It will take time to research your market and to practice selling a range of goods before you start to get to grips with this concept. But don't give up! With just a bit of effort you could soon find yourself in a place where every item you have for sale is delivering you a significant profit

Tripadvisors of the World: The Creator and Executioner of the Hotel Industry Online

Many websites on the internet provide travelers the option of finding more about a destination they want to travel to. In many cases, this information is in the form of a review. Statistically speaking, these reviews may not motivate or deter domestic travelers as much as it would international travelers. And with the diversity of the online space, there are many new review websites that are coming up to give travelers a complete view of any destination they are planning to travel to.

These websites have also slowly evolved with time. Today, a destination review website not only reviews the place but also the various accommodation options that they may have there. Websites like Tripadvisor provide a complete 360 degree review of almost all tourist destinations in the world. These websites can make or break the reputation of a place. The review contains ratings and a comparative analysis with all major hotels and restaurants there. This goes a long way to affect the reputation of a hospitality provider.

Tourists come from all over the world to the different tourist destinations in the world and they look up their staying options online before they travel normally. The experience available online is so complete at times that it seems pointless to look anywhere else for a review for a destination. So whatever be written on these online review websites, most of the time it all that the traveler would refer to.

The reputation of a hotel online is only as good as the service they provide. One slip up by them could lead to a review on an important traveler website that could become a black mark on the reputation of the hotel. With more than 60 percent of international travelers preferring Online Travel Agents (OTAs), the online review of a hotel or a service provider can have a serious influence on the traveler's destination and accommodation preference.

Overall, the reputation of a hotel online can be played with very easily with the mass range of online users now. The opinion leaders of the travel market can have a strong bearing how one perceives a particular hotel or brand. For many of us, it is convenient to follow these websites and trust them before stepping on a land that is unknown to them. Thanks to the experts that Hotels can now opt for hotel marketing services like Hotel SEO, social media for hotels and many more such digital marketing offerings.

The online opinion acts as their guide and they would trust it more than the agents in the foreign country. Hence it is important to advocate one's image online in a positive light before the opinion of a leading website tarnishes that reputation.

Marketing and PR Online in Web 2.0 Style!

"All Web 2.0 (Social Media/Network Platforms) are equal, but some Web 2.0 are more equal than others." - adapted from the book Animal Farm. With so many of them to choose from, the decision of which ones to use can be overwhelming. But this isn't an inconceivable task - providing that we have clearly defined the real purposes of using Social Media as it relates to our businesses and meeting our goals. Only then, should we even think about implementing any kind of Web 2.0 applications - just to avoid wasting our time, so to speak. Having said that, the task that now remains is to identify the most appropriate and effective Web 2.0 applications to our PR strategy. The choices are endless and so Marketers and Public relations professionals should remain informed about all available options.

Web 2.0 applications can easily be categorized according to how they are used - their functions per se. Currently, there are several such applications which may be either business oriented (B2B) while other categories are more suited for customers (C2C) and the regular layman: companies will benefit greatly from knowing these differences in order to maximize their online marketing and public relations efforts.

Business to Business (B2B) Applications

These are efficient when businesses desire to collaborate and share confidential information among themselves. Applications such as Salesforce, Microsoft Sharepoint, Microsoft Dynamics, Sugar CMP among many others would be ideal in this regard. Interestingly, there are also those web 2.0 platforms (Internal Business Web 2.0) that are used exclusively for internal communication among employees within an organization.

Business to Client (B2C) Applications

Essentially the title of this speaks for itself. Such platforms enhance the way a business will relate to its consumers in a more direct and interactive manner. Currently, platforms such as Blogging Apps, Wiki sites, Facebook, LinkedIn, or topic forums, allow plenty of latitude in this regard. Although less popular, there are many more Web 2.0 Apps such as SocialWok, Chatter, CloudContacts, pbwiki, pingg and a myriad of others.

Client to Business (C2B) Applications

This can be considered as the opposite model to the B2C model. In the B2C concept, it is the business that provides goods and services while the consumers who have created the demand, utilizes these products. C2B allows the client to offer products and services to businesses as in the case of Google AdSense. Affiliation platforms and programs offered by sites such as ClickBank, Commission Junction or even Amazon are also varieties of this model. Platforms which offer online surveys such as Survey Scout, Opinio, Survey Monkey are also classic examples of C2B Web 2.0 Applications along with Open Source developers for example as in the case with Linux.

Client to Client (C2C) Applications

These are undoubtedly the most common forms of Web 2.0 platforms there. Of course with so many of them on the market, some will be more popular than others. Essentially, they allow direct interaction and social networking online among persons on a massive scale. Again blogging platforms, Wiki websites and forums find themselves within this category. C2C Web 2.0 platforms also allow persons to indulge in multimedia and document sharing among themselves as in the case with Podcasting, YouTube, Flickr, Google Docs and ShareSlide.

When implemented into PR and marketing strategies the appropriate Web 2.0 or Social Network platforms will enhance the online experience of your business thereby increasing revenues. Public relations professionals and Marketers should therefore craft their efforts around using these media efficiently.

Digital Publishing Strategy Stages for Illustrated Non Fiction Titles

These stages can be run in parallel and obviously the priority/cost of conversion between front and back list and individual titles should be considered.

Basic conversion of existing titles to digital
Ensuring you have digital rights for all of the text, photos, illustrations, maps etc.Conversion of your PDF/InDesign/Quark print files to ePub,.mobi etc.Uploading and distribution of digital titles to the numerous online eCommerce websites.Marketing the digital versions of the book.

Content digitisation and workflows
Conversion of your content to a simpler way of storing and accessing it such as an XML database.Changing your workflows so the content databases can be edited and products created directly from them.

Maximising the value of your content i.e. getting your content out to more people and in more formats.
Re-packaging your content involving re-designing products to suite digital devices.Licensing and providing access to your content for other uses.Using your content in marketing to help create and keep communities interested in your products.Build or create links into online communities where your content can be marketed. As you gain access to online communities interested in particular subject areas this can then help influence your publishing program.

The Implementation of your Digital Product Strategy

There are various different stages that you should assess when looking at your digital strategy.

Research the general market and your market

The first thing you need to do is look at the following:
Market - what's out there already, how is it being sold, what price point, numbers etc etcInnovative ideas - these are often in different products, but look at what's moving forward in your subject areas.Your market - assess what your target market is, how they buy/download, what technology they use etc. This will give a great overview of what areas to assess within the strategy development.

Mature your ideas

Firstly look at the ideas you have already for your titles. You, as the publishers of the books know the titles the best and often have a great grasp for what their readers will enjoy, and thus buy. Often it's a lack of confidence to go forward with these ideas or not knowing how to complete the ideas is where the sticking point is. However if you're creating your digital strategy in-house, actually getting something written down can really help you move forward and stop just talking about it.

What are your long term and short term aims?

You need to have a clear understanding of what you'd like to do, where you'd like to start and generally the speed / direction of where you'd like to go with digital products. Then you can start working out what they're going to be and when you need to develop them.

Define a product strategy / Action Plan

Once key decisions have been made about the best way forward for your digital products, you should develop a strategy, this could include:
A written document detailing a product strategy that you can move forward with within your timeframe / budget. This will overview the type of products (technologies - i.e. Kindle, ePub, apps etc), the content of potential products and distribution lines etc. This could be created in something as simple as excel for each of the titles and the product types you intend to create.A digital product schedule to help you understand the long term and short term priorities.Detailed product walkthroughs, technical documentation etc to enable you to send to our external development company for the different types of digital products you have decided to create.

Linking in with website / marketing

Once you have your digital product strategy in place don't just leave it there, careful consideration needs to be made for distribution and marketing. Look at how to use your website and marketing activities to best promote your digital products.
